Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz did not seem to appreciate Visa Cash App RB driver Liam Lawson disobeying the blue flags during the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix. The Spaniard had a comfortable afternoon at the Autodrome Hermanos Rodriguez as he went on to convert his pole position into a second win of the 2024 season.
While Sainz did not have a smooth start to the race as he lost his lead to Max Verstappen off the line, the Spaniard was able to reclaim his position after the safety car restart, overtaking the Red Bull driver at the end of Turn 1.
Despite leading for most of the race, Carlos Sainz was briefly annoyed while lapping some cars during the race. In a clip floating on social media, the Ferrari driver seemed frustrated with Red Bull Junior Liam Lawson as he did not let him by and obey the blue flags. On his team radio, the Spaniard could be heard shouting:
