In Monday night's game between the Montreal Canadiens and Anaheim Ducks, a fight broke out between Canadiens defenseman Kaiden Guhle and Ducks center Ryan Strome.
The incident occurred with less than two minutes remaining in the second period, near the Canadiens net. Strome was attempting to score but was stopped by Canadiens goalie Sam Montembeault.
Guhle came in and engaged Strome, with both players landing several punches before Strome slipped and fell to the ice. They continued exchanging blows as they slid down the ice before being separated by referees.
