Red Bull driver Sergio Perez was seen pushing Carlos Sainz's head after their massive crash on the penultimate lap of the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Perez looked like he was having a brilliant weekend in Baku, behind McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.
The Mexican driver was unable to make an overtake on Leclerc on the start of the penultimate lap stick, as the Monegasque passed him on the exit of turn 1. This left a gap that Sainz was able to use to momentarily take P3 from the Red Bull.
The two drivers collided on the straight, both refusing to give up space, and crashed into the wall. Perez was furious with the Ferrari driver and expressed his feelings on his team radio. A video being shared on social media shows what happened once the Red Bull driver had gotten out of the car.
