Tiger Woods's TGL has sent a gift to sports journalist Claire Rogers as the first edition of the tech-infused series nears its start. The upcoming golf league has been in the headlines for a while because of its unique format. It was initially supposed to start in January 2024, but its venue, SoFi Center, collapsed in 2023. It was postponed to 2025 and will finally begin next month.
Woods created the series with his good friend Rory McIlroy and TMRW founder Mike McCarley. As it's around the corner, excitement is palpable. The league sent sports journalists a gift and Rogers shared its unboxing on X (formerly Twitter). It contained a schedule of TGL and six balls dedicated to the series' teams.
"Very cool box from @TGL! Unboxing video brought to you by my 12-year-old sister," she tweeted.
