The Lakers endured a major scare as star player Anthony Davis went down with an injury against the Grizzlies on Sunday. The All-Star center picked up a left shoulder injury in the third quarter after jostling for a loose ball with rookie Zach Edey. Davis fell to the floor after the ball went out of bounds, clutching his left shoulder in pain.
He took a while to get back up and continued playing. However, coach JJ Redick shortly pulled him out, and Davis headed to the locker room. The Lakers were up 81-61 when he left the floor.
