Williams Racing is set to run a special dedicated livery featuring the iconic yellow colors of its 1993 livery. This special livery is part of the team's sponsorship deal with Mercado Libre, a digital payment giant.
The FW46 running in the upcoming two races in the Americas will be reminiscent of the colors of the FW15C, which Damon Hill and Alain Prost piloted in the 1993 season of Formula 1. The latter won his fourth and final World Championship that season.
This time around, it is the team's partnership with Mercado Libre that will see the yellow tone on the engine cover, matched with its iconic blue and the Duracell bronze-black on the intake vent. While many teams were earlier focusing on keeping their cars light with the least paint, Williams is using various colors on its cars.
